VICTOR IRVINE SMYTHE It is with great sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Irvine Smythe on October 18, 2008. Victor was predeceased by his wife Christina of 61 years on September 14, 2008. He will be remembered by his children, Ken (Brenda), Sharron and Russ (Sherri); grandchildren, Brian, Lisa (Geoff), Michael, Iian and Tristan; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jaden and Aidenn. Dad, Grampa, Poppa: We miss you teaching us about tools and cars, the special way you acknowledged us with your grunts, your visits complete with candy, the way you teased us, your passion for each of your pets, and the way you could fix anything. Family was most important to you and Mom. We miss you both. As per Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We would like to thank all the wonderful nurses and staff at Oakview Extendicare for taking care of Dad these last few years.
